1.Code.org

Code.org is a non-profit organization and educational website founded by Hadi and Ali Partovi[1] aimed at K-12 students that specializes in computer science.[2] The website includes free coding lessons, sounds, and many more things used to help students code fluently. The initiative also targets schools in an attempt to encourage them to include more computer science classes in the curriculum. [3] On December 9, 2013, they launched the Hour of Code nationwide to promote computer science during Computer Science Education Week through December 15, 2013.[4][5][6]

2.Thunkable

Thunkable is a no-code development platform[2] where people can create mobile apps for iOS[lower-alpha 1] and Android, as well as web apps. It was founded in 2015 by Arun Saigal and Weihua Li. It has two versions, the original "Thunkable Classic"[lower-alpha 2] and the newer "Thunkable X" which has two interfaces, Snap to Place (StP) and Drag Drop (DnD).Thunkable is based on the App Inventor project, which began at Google Research and MIT (as of 2010). Thunkable's founders worked on App Inventor as MIT students.Thunkable has its headquarters in San Francisco, California.[4]

The Micro Bit (also referred to as BBC Micro Bit or stylized as micro:bit) is an open source hardware ARM-based embedded system designed by the BBC for use in computer education in the United Kingdom. It was first announced on the launch of BBC's Make It Digital campaign on 12 March 2015[5][6] with the intent of delivering 1 million devices to pupils in the UK. The final device design and features were unveiled on 6 July 2015[7] whereas actual delivery of devices, initially planned for September 2015 to schools and October 2015 to general public,[8] began on 10 February 2016.[9][10]
